Dr. William C. Beller
Dr. William C. Beller was born in 1941, in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was primarily schooled in grammar schools at Hermann, Missouri in 1947, Hamilton, Missouri in 1948 and 1949, and Chester, Illinois from 1950 to 1957. He attended high school in Batesville, Arkansas and graduated from Batesville High School in 1959. Upon graduation, he attended Arkansas Tech and Arkansas (Lyon) College for two years. He fulfilled the requirements for admission to dental school during that time and was admitted to the Washington University Dental program in 1961. Upon Graduation from Washington University in 1965, he enlisted in the United States Navy and married his high school sweetheart, the former Peggy Moore.
Dr. Beller served three years from 1965 to 1968 with The U. S. Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton in southern California and at MCAS Iwakuni in southern Japan. His daughter Karen was born in Japan and came home to Batesville when Bill and Peggy returned home in 1968. Bill began his practice life with his friend and mentor, the late Dr. Norman A Grammer, became a partner a few years later, and then operated the practice solo until joined by his son, Chris, in 2003.
Although practice successes and accomplishments are generally attributed to the doctors, it would be unfair not to give a large share of credit to the many fine assistants, receptionists, hygienists, laboratory technicians, supply people, and repair technicians who have served and are serving our practice. And, of course, the many wonderful patients who have placed their trust in us.
